How does the granule packaging machine ensure sealing during the packaging process?

The granule packaging machine is a device that automatically packages granular materials such as food, medicine, chemical raw materials, etc. into single or multiple packaging units according to a predetermined weight or volume. It is crucial for the granule packaging machine to ensure sealing during the packaging process. The following are some key measures:

Ⅰ. Choose the right packaging material

The granule packaging machine should use packaging materials with good barrier properties, heat resistance, cold resistance and toughness, such as multi-layer composite plastic bags. These materials can effectively prevent the granular materials from getting damp and deteriorating due to changes in the external environment (such as humidity and temperature) during the packaging process.

Ensure that the thickness and strength of the packaging material are moderate, able to withstand the pressure and tension during the packaging process, and avoid the packaging bag from breaking or deforming during sealing.

Ⅱ. Optimize the sealing parameters

According to the characteristics of the granular material and the requirements of the packaging material, adjust the heating and sealing parameters of the granule packaging machine. Ensure that the sealing temperature and time are appropriate, neither too high nor too low. Too high temperature and time may cause the packaging bag to be heat-sealed loosely, resulting in burning or leaking; while too low temperature and time may cause incomplete sealing and poor sealing.

When setting the sealing temperature, the influence of the roller on the sealing and the influence of the packaged material must also be considered. Generally, the temperature of the longitudinal seal should be set lower than the temperature of the transverse seal (about 10°C lower) to ensure the flatness and clarity of the seal.

Ⅲ. Keep the equipment clean and maintained

Regularly clean the sealing part and other key parts of the particle packaging machine to remove dust, impurities and residues. These impurities may affect the sealing quality and cause poor sealing.

Regularly check the wear of the sealing parts (such as heating elements, sealing knives, etc.) and replace aging or damaged parts in time.

Regularly maintain the particle packaging machine, including checking the lubrication of the transmission parts, the working condition of the electrical components, etc., to ensure that the equipment is in good working condition.

Ⅳ. Adjust the equipment pressure

By adjusting the pressure of the particle packaging machine, ensure that there is enough pressure in the sealing part to ensure a firm seal. Insufficient pressure may lead to incomplete sealing and affect the sealing performance; while excessive pressure may damage the packaging bag or sealing components.

V. Detection and Monitoring

During the granule packaging process, a sealing detection system can be equipped to detect the sealing quality in real time. The system can detect parameters such as air tightness and strength of the seal to ensure that each packaging bag meets the predetermined sealing standard.

If the sealing quality is poor or the sealing performance is insufficient, the machine should be stopped immediately and the cause should be checked, and measures should be taken in time to improve it.

VI. Operation Specifications and Training

Standardized training should be conducted for the operators of the granule packaging machine to familiarize them with the operation procedures and precautions of the equipment.

Emphasize the importance of keeping clean and avoiding contamination during operation, as well as the method of correctly adjusting the sealing parameters and equipment pressure.

In summary, by selecting appropriate packaging materials, optimizing sealing parameters, keeping the equipment clean and maintained, adjusting equipment pressure, detection and monitoring, and standardized operation and training, it is possible to ensure that the granule packaging machine maintains good sealing performance during the packaging process.
