When selecting a Granular Packaging Machine, the following important factors need to be taken into consideration:


I. Packaging Accuracy
Accuracy Range
1.Different application scenarios have different requirements for packaging accuracy. For example, in the food industry, for the packaging of granular condiments such as salt and sugar, a relatively high accuracy is required. Generally, the accuracy of a high-quality granular packaging machine can reach ±0.5% - ±1%. This means that for every 1,000 grams of packaged products, the error range is between 5 and 10 grams. In industries where the accuracy requirement for packaging is slightly lower, such as for some chemical raw materials, an accuracy of ±1% - ±2% may also be acceptable.
2.The accuracy of the packaging machine can be checked by referring to the product manual or through actual testing. During actual testing, standard weights or granular samples of known weights can be used for multiple packaging operations, and then the error range can be calculated by weighing.

Factors Affecting Accuracy
 a.Measurement System: This is the crucial part that determines the packaging accuracy. Common measurement methods include volumetric measurement and gravimetric measurement. Volumetric measurement is suitable for products with uniform granular size. It controls the packaging quantity through a fixed volume. Gravimetric measurement, on the other hand, is more precise. It uses high-precision sensors to measure the weight and can package precisely according to the set weight, especially suitable for products with non-uniform granular size or those with extremely high requirements for weight accuracy.
b.Material Characteristics: The shape, size, and fluidity of the granules also affect the packaging accuracy. For example, spherical granules have good fluidity and are easier to control the quantity precisely during the packaging process; while irregularly shaped granules may result in uneven accumulation, affecting the packaging accuracy. For granules with poor fluidity, the packaging machine may need to be equipped with special auxiliary devices, such as vibrators, to ensure that the granules can enter the packaging container smoothly, thereby improving the packaging accuracy.


II. Packaging Speed
Production Efficiency Requirements
(1)The packaging speed of the granular packaging machine should be selected according to one's own production scale and efficiency requirements. If it is a small enterprise or a production line with a low output, a packaging machine with a packaging speed of about 10 - 30 packages per minute may be sufficient to meet the requirements. For large food processing plants or chemical enterprises, a packaging machine with a packaging speed of 50 - 100 packages per minute or even higher may be required.

(2)Meanwhile, it should be considered whether the speed of the packaging machine can be adjusted. During the actual production process, the packaging speed may need to be adjusted due to changes in product types, packaging specifications, or order quantities. A packaging machine with an adjustable speed function can better adapt to these changes and improve the flexibility and practicality of the equipment.
2.Balance between Speed and Quality
One should not simply pursue a high packaging speed. Although a high packaging speed can increase production efficiency, it may also lead to a decline in packaging quality. For example, if the packaging machine operates too fast, there may be problems such as incomplete filling, inaccurate weighing, or poor sealing. Therefore, it is necessary to find a balance between packaging speed and quality to ensure that the packaged products meet the quality requirements.
